BWD-01 55% Solid Content Color Removal Chemical Wastewater Decolorizer Effluent Decolorizing Polymer
BWD-01 Wastewater Decolorizer is a high-efficiency effluent decolorizing polymer specially developed for industrial wastewater color removal, COD reduction, and flocculation treatment applications. The product is based on quaternary ammonium cationic polymer technology and is widely used in textile dyeing wastewater, pigment wastewater, printing ink wastewater, paper mill wastewater, and chemical wastewater treatment systems.
Industrial wastewater often contains soluble dyes, suspended color particles, and organic contaminants that are difficult to remove using traditional inorganic coagulants alone. Many wastewater treatment plants struggle with residual color, unstable sedimentation, high sludge generation, and excessive chemical consumption.
BWD-01 Color Removal Chemical is designed to solve these problems by rapidly destabilizing color substances and forming dense flocs for easier separation and clearer treated water.

Textile and industrial wastewater commonly contains:
- Reactive dyes
- Acid dyes
- Direct dyes
- Disperse dyes
- Organic pigments
- Fine suspended solids
- High COD organic substances
Traditional coagulants may not effectively remove dissolved dye molecules, especially in wastewater with high color concentration.
This can result in:
- Dark final effluent
- Poor discharge quality
- High treatment cost
- Excess sludge production
- Slow settling speed
BWD-01 works through strong cationic charge neutralization and polymer flocculation mechanisms.
The product rapidly reacts with negatively charged dye molecules and colloidal particles in wastewater, destabilizing color substances and improving floc formation.
Treatment performance:
- Color removal efficiency: 50%–99%
- COD reduction efficiency: 50%–80%
- Faster sedimentation
- Lower sludge generation
Compared with conventional inorganic coagulants, BWD-01 provides better clarification performance and more stable treatment results.
For difficult wastewater systems, the product is commonly used together with PAC and PAM.
Recommended treatment sequence:
BWD-01 → PAC → PAM
Recommended operating pH:
7.5–8.0

Widely used for:
- Fabric dyeing wastewater
- Printing wastewater
- Reactive dye wastewater
- Textile finishing wastewater
The product effectively removes soluble dye color and improves wastewater clarification.
Suitable for:
- Pigment manufacturing wastewater
- Water-based ink wastewater
- Industrial color wastewater
The product improves settling performance and color reduction efficiency.
BWD-01 can be used in:
- Paper mill wastewater clarification
- Pulp wastewater treatment
- Paper processing applications
It helps reduce wastewater color and improve settling efficiency.
Also suitable for:
- Landfill leachate treatment
- Chemical manufacturing wastewater
- Fiber bleaching wastewater
- Wood processing wastewater
- Coking wastewater
The treatment process mainly includes:
- 1Charge neutralization
- 2Dye destabilization
- 3Polymer bridging
- 4Flocculation and sedimentation
After dilution, the product is added directly into wastewater. The cationic polymer rapidly adsorbs negatively charged dye molecules and colloidal particles.
Large and dense flocs are then formed and separated through sedimentation or dissolved air flotation systems.
For wastewater with high COD or difficult color removal requirements, PAC and PAM are usually combined to improve treatment performance.
Different wastewater systems require different treatment strategies:
- Reactive dye wastewater often needs stronger decolorization capability
- Ink wastewater may require enhanced flocculation
- Landfill leachate usually contains darker color and higher COD
Jar testing is strongly recommended before full-scale application.
Traditional inorganic coagulants often produce large sludge volumes.
Organic polymeric wastewater decolorizers like BWD-01 help reduce sludge generation and lower disposal costs.
