BWD-01 55% Solid Content Dicyandiamide Resin Decolorizing Agent Decolourant for Industrial Wastewater Treatment
BWD-01 Decolorizing Agent Decolourant is a high-efficiency dicyandiamide resin based cationic polymer specially developed for industrial wastewater decolorization, COD reduction, and flocculation treatment applications. The product is widely used in textile dyeing wastewater, pigment wastewater, printing ink wastewater, paper mill wastewater, and chemical wastewater treatment systems.
Many industrial wastewater streams contain stable soluble dyes and organic color substances that are difficult to remove using conventional inorganic coagulants alone. Residual color, unstable settling, and excessive sludge generation are common problems in wastewater treatment plants.
BWD-01 Dicyandiamide Resin Decolorizing Agent is designed to solve these challenges through strong cationic charge neutralization and rapid flocculation performance.

Wastewater from textile dyeing, pigment manufacturing, and printing industries usually contains:
- Reactive dyes
- Acid dyes
- Direct dyes
- Disperse dyes
- Organic pigments
- Suspended solids
- High COD organic compounds
Traditional coagulants often struggle to remove dissolved color molecules effectively, especially in wastewater with high dye concentration.
As a result, treatment plants may face:
- Poor final effluent color
- High chemical dosage consumption
- Excess sludge generation
- Slow sedimentation
- Unstable treatment performance
BWD-01 works as an organic cationic polymeric decolorant that rapidly reacts with negatively charged dye molecules and colloidal particles in wastewater.
The product destabilizes color substances and forms dense flocs for easier sedimentation or flotation separation.
Treatment performance:
- Color removal efficiency: 50%–99%
- COD reduction efficiency: 50%–80%
- Faster flocculation and settling
- Lower sludge production
Compared with conventional inorganic coagulants, BWD-01 provides better color removal efficiency and lower overall sludge disposal cost.
For difficult wastewater systems, the product is commonly used together with PAC and PAM.
Recommended dosing sequence:
BWD-01 → PAC → PAM
Recommended pH range:
7.5–8.0

Widely used in:
- Fabric dyeing wastewater
- Printing wastewater
- Reactive dye wastewater
- Textile finishing wastewater
The product effectively removes soluble dye color and improves wastewater clarification.
Suitable for:
- Pigment wastewater
- Ink manufacturing wastewater
- Water-based color wastewater
The product helps reduce residual color and improve sedimentation efficiency.
BWD-01 can be used for:
- Paper mill wastewater clarification
- Pulp wastewater treatment
- Paper processing retention applications
It improves wastewater transparency and settling performance.
Also suitable for:
- Landfill leachate treatment
- Chemical manufacturing wastewater
- Fiber bleaching wastewater
- Wood processing wastewater
- Coking wastewater
The wastewater treatment process mainly includes:
- Charge neutralization
- Dye destabilization
- Polymer bridging
- Flocculation and sedimentation </
After dilution with water, BWD-01 is dosed directly into wastewater.
The cationic polymer rapidly adsorbs negatively charged dye molecules and colloids, helping form larger and denser flocs.
The flocs are then removed through sedimentation or dissolved air flotation systems.
For wastewater with higher COD or stronger color concentration, PAC and PAM are often combined to improve treatment performance.
Different wastewater types require different treatment approaches:
- Reactive dye wastewater often requires stronger decolorization capability
- Ink wastewater may require enhanced flocculation
- Leachate wastewater usually contains higher COD and dark color
Jar testing is strongly recommended before full-scale application.
Traditional inorganic coagulants often generate excessive sludge volume.
Organic polymeric decolorants like BWD-01 help reduce sludge generation and lower disposal cost.
