    Product Overview

    Meat and poultry wastewater varies sharply between production, washdown and sanitation periods. Blood, protein, tissue fines, fat and detergents create a complex DAF feed. Polyamine can improve initial charge neutralization, while a selected PAM increases floc size and bubble capture.

    Designed for pretreatment after effective screening and free-fat control. It does not disinfect wastewater or replace biological treatment for dissolved organic load.

    Separate coarse solids at the source and equalize wastewater where feasible. Run tests on production and sanitation samples because detergent carryover can change coagulation. Dose polyamine first, then add PAM at lower shear and evaluate actual DAF flotation.

    Dosage Optimization

    Optimize for TSS, FOG, COD, float solids and chemical cost. Include sludge dewatering behavior because a program that removes more solids but creates watery float may raise total disposal cost.

    Handling and Storage

    Use corrosion-compatible metering equipment and prevent contamination between chemical tanks. If dilution is required, add product to clean water with moderate agitation and verify solution stability before continuous use. Keep containers sealed and follow the grade-specific SDS and TDS for personal protection, storage temperature and spill response.

    It can help remove blood-associated suspended and colloidal material, but performance varies with dilution, pH and cleaning chemicals.

    Why test sanitation wastewater separately?

    Caustic, acid and surfactant cleaners change pH and particle stability, so a dose optimized for production wastewater may not work during cleanup.

    Does it kill pathogens?

    No. Polyamine is a coagulation chemical, not a disinfectant. Required hygienic or discharge controls must be provided separately.
