    Product Overview

    Cleaning water from paint and coating production can contain pigments, binders, surfactants, fillers and solvent traces. These mixtures are difficult because stable dispersants are designed to prevent particles from coming together. Polyamine supplies positive charge to destabilize part of this dispersed load before clarification or DAF.

    Suitable for water-based paint, coating and equipment-wash wastewater after segregation of concentrated product and free solvent. It is not a substitute for solvent recovery, hazardous-waste control or VOC management.

    Segregate high-strength dumps from routine wash water. Test pH adjustment, polyamine, PAC and PAM as separate variables. For DAF, assess floc buoyancy and bubble attachment rather than settling alone. Confirm that solvent content is compatible with the treatment system.

    Evaluate clarified-water TSS, color, COD, sludge texture and DAF skimmability. Do not infer dissolved-COD removal from pigment removal; analyze both when discharge or biological loading matters.

    Use corrosion-compatible metering equipment and prevent contamination between chemical tanks. If dilution is required, add product to clean water with moderate agitation and verify solution stability before continuous use.     No. Binder, surfactant and solvent systems differ. Water-based acrylic, styrene-butadiene and other formulations should be tested separately.

    What should be removed before chemical treatment?
